Doodh Sagar Water Fall
It literally mean “ocean of milk”. This waterfall got it’s name because of the white cascading water. The water fall down over an altitude of more than 300 metres in two segments. An aqueduct of the south central railway passes right through the waterfalls.
This waterfall is situated in the core area of Mollem National Park. The National Park itself covers an are of 107sq.km. and is contiguous to Bhagwan Mahaveer National Park(133 sq.km.).
Doodh Sagar river is a major source of drinking water to the state of Goa.
To watch Doodh Sagar you have to travel with the rough terrain passing through the thick forest. Travelling towards it is fun and adventure.
